2004 Catamaran Information/Training Sessions - Toronto, Canada

[hobie183-orca] Kite Skiing Seminar

We sail during the summer, what do we do during the winter?

Find out about the who-what-where of kite skiing: The fascinating sport of Traction Kiting has been around for about 20 years. Traction Kiting comes in different forms - in winter one can use skis, snowboard or ice buggy and in summer one can use a kite board on water or a buggy on a flat smooth surface like beach, salt flats or dry lakebed.

Grant Fitz has been traction kiting since 1994 in and around the Toronto area, he teaches Kite Skiing on Lake Simcoe. He has been instrumental in the growth of Kite Skiing and is the catalyst behind the Lake Simcoe Wind Sports Festival.
