Wind range and Gust: There are two
adjustments that allow the rider to change the
sheeting or angle of attack of the kite. Let's
define the happy zone for a rider as the best angle
of attack for a particular riders skills in
particular riding conditions. By adjusting the
depower strap the rider can set the max and min
pitch for the conditions. Within this zone the rider
is then able to make other adjustments while riding
by pulling in and letting out with the bar to either
increase or decrease the power. Both of these
adjusts can be made while the rider is moving for
big up wind angles or high powered down wind runs.
The rider also has the added benefit to use this bar
sheeting to ease the gust effects. |

Upwind performance: The most recent design of
the Twin Skins have a 50% better life/drag ration
than pre-1999 kites which give them incredible
upwind performance. |

Luff resistance: Luffing is when a kite falls
back in the wind window towards the ground. The Twin
skins are naturally good at resisting luffing as
they tend to want to fly forward. |

Stability: Anyone familiar with flow forms
will realize that some of the design stability of
those kites has been built into the Twin Skins. What
this translates to for the riders is that the kite
generally want to fly where it's directed. The kites
can be flown hands off. Much of the time the kites
