In
late June, we met with the
administration of our local Member of
Parliament David Caplan. After reviewing
our Trikke proposal, we have been
informed that he will be writing a
letter to the Minister to propose a
legislative change to include Trikkes in
the PST Rebate. What this means to you
is that when you purchase a Trikke or
bike safety accessories like a bell, you
won't be charged the PST. If you've
already purchased a Trikke, we encourage
you to apply for the rebate anyway. The
information regarding the forms can be
found
here. Cross your fingers! |

Another way to slow
yourself down when descending an incline
is to apply some pressure on your down
hill edge while holding that same edge a
little longer. Rather than spreading
your weight between both feet, ease up
on your uphill foot while applying
pressure on the down hill foot and lean
slightly more down the incline rather
than leaning toward your inside edge.

If someone asks you where
you got your Trikke, you can now tell
them
Trikke.ca and it will directly link
them to us in Toronto.

Once
a month we meet with Trikke USA and all
the other dealers across North America.
This general news category will
highlight the up and coming announcements.
-
The Trikke 78CS (2 poly + 1 air)
will now be produced in matte black
instead of grey. The price of this
unit will not change.
-
There will be a new Trikke 78Air
released in the fall. The colour
will be metallic green similar to
the T12 colour and it will have
upgrade components. There will be a
slight price increase to accommodate
the changes and the rising price of
fuel which has a direct influence on
our costs.
-
A
new Trikke 8 C-08 will be released
in the future. It will have disc
breaks and should be available in
summer 2009. They will come with a
rubber foot pad for more comfort.
You will also be able to order this
rubber foot pad as an upgrade for
your older
Trikke 8 Air.
-
The price of some of the larger
models (Trikke 8 Air and Trikke 12
Roadster) will be increasing at some
point later in the summer due to the
rising cost of fuel and improved
packaging.
