Tying the Bionic Truck to the T3 cube is the patent

and retract it ties the truck and T3 into a solid

T3 Technology by Ground Industries
The New Paradigm
It started with an idea in our basement and has
become the most versatile skateboard suspension
available today. After riding for years on the
same old technology we felt that it was time for a
change. We wanted a suspension system that did
more than what was currently available and
outperformed everything else. Ground
Industries proudly presents its patented T3
Technology.
Torsion cube or, T3, Technology began in 2001.
Driven by a desire to push the limits of what had
previously been thought possible and develop a new
suspension with no limits. The goal was to
create a system that could adapt to any rider’s
style, size, and terrain choice. After two
years of intensive research, prototyping, and
testing Ground engineers emerged with the current,
ground breaking design.
T3 Technology inside
Bionic Trucks gives one board the versatility and
ability to do the job of three.
The Cube
This is the heart of
it all. T3’s are made from high quality
polyurethane, molded to exacting tolerances and
engineered to take the abuse of a hard ride.
The T3 suspension system is designed to accomplish a
number of tasks.
First task, adjustability.
Change your blocks to a different durometer
(stiffness) and you change the handling of your
board. With a range of six different blocks
providing their own unique level of torsional
resistance and vibration dampening qualities, and
more coming in the future, you are guaranteed to
find a T3 that is right for your style of riding.
Second task, progressive resistance.
As you lean further and further into a turn the T3
responds with more and more resistance, similar to
speed sensitive steering. This creates a
stable platform, gives a solid feel in the turns,
and promotes unparalleled rebound.
Furthermore, it brings the flex of the deck into
play. In a turn the lateral G-forces build up
and cause the deck to flex more, effectively
increasing the mounting angle of the trucks which
creates a tighter turn.
Final task, shock
absorption and vibration isolation.
This has been tried before but it never worked quite
like this. The combination of the concentric
cavities and tendons work together to dampen the
shock and vibration experienced in all types of
riding conditions and maneuvers. Basically, no
other suspension system will give you a smoother
ride anywhere…period.
