Spark
Ever seen a person flying a kite
on the beach or even be pulled along by a kite and
thought it might be a great deal of fun for you too?
Check out the Spark!
Flying kites is fun for everyone,
but as with every other sport, you need to get the
basics first. With these kites you can start off
safe and easily because they are user friendly and
forgiving, but still you will be surprised by the
speed, quick steering and the power your Sparks
generate each time you fly them.
Easy handling
Fly in on a set of handles
or bar, the spark is easy to fly. The two line setup
enables you to learn the sport quickly and easily,
minimizes the chance of flying lines getting tangled
and avoids any need for adjusting or tuning the
kite. High top speed &
quick turns
The Spark is not a kite
that you will put away after a flight or two. The
Spark flies fast and turn quickly, it keeps you
improving your kite skills with ease. Start with
simple figure 8 movements and when you get the
feeling of how the kite responds to your arm
movements take the next step by making more
aggressive turns and loops.
Docile pull
The smaller sized Sparks are the correct kites for
learning. In light winds you can get your kite
skills improved quickly and easily but when the wind
picks up or when you try a bigger size you will be
surprised by the pull these kites can produce. This
will be the perfect foundation for flying future
large power kites, jumping into a buggy or getting
on the water to go kite boarding.
Stability
The Spark series are designed in such a way that
they don`t tend to collapse over your head very
easily and they perform even when the conditions are
not optimal. This means you can fully concentrate on
having fun in all conditions even in an offshore
gusty wind. Features
-
Medium aspect ratio for easy handling yet good
performance
-
Crossvented profiles for easier relaunch after a
crash on the beach
-
Color coded handles, lines and attachment loops
on the kite for easy recognition of left and
right
-
Velcro bridle loop to minimize the chance of
bridles getting tangles when packing the kite
-
Stitched bridles for less bridle drag and
smoother finish
Accessories
The Spark is supplied complete with lines and
handles, as follows:

Controlling your Spark
Your Spark can be flown on
any kind of heavy duty two line handles. The kite is
supplied with padded wrist straps, but there is an
optional bar available for you to get the feeling of
flying kites on a control bar.
Wrist
straps Fly the Spark on wrist straps, for simple
two line control. The wrist straps give you a better
'feel' of the kite, you get a better response as the
lines are almost attached directly to your hands.
With wrist straps your kite is slightly more
maneuverable. If you let go of one handle the kite
collapses and safely floats down to the ground, so
in case the kite delivers too much power this is
your safe way out.
Control Bar It is slightly easier to fly the kite
with the optional control bar, but the kite is
somewhat less maneuverable. Flying the Spark with
the bar is great training for the kite boarding side
of this exciting sport. It is important to get used
to the feel of the bar and the way the kite reacts
to a different action of the arms. |
